Request Data Deletion
1. Submit Your Request
Email frontdesk@zingride.in with the subject ZingRide Data Deletion Request.
Include enough information for us to locate and verify the account:
- Your full name.
- The email address and mobile number associated with ZingRide.
- Whether the request concerns your ZingRide account, Meta Login data, WhatsApp Business integration data, or all data.
- If applicable, your Meta user ID, business portfolio ID, WhatsApp Business Account ID, or WhatsApp phone number ID.
Do not email passwords, OTPs, access tokens, full payment-card details, or copies of identity documents unless our support team specifically requests a secure verification method.
2. Verification
To protect users from unauthorized deletion, we may verify the request using the email address, mobile number, account login, or another proportionate method. If we cannot verify that you control the account or business asset, we may ask for additional information.
3. What We Delete
After verification, we will delete or anonymize information that is not required for an ongoing booking, unresolved dispute, fraud or safety investigation, payment obligation, or legal retention duty. Depending on your request, this may include:
- ZingRide profile and account information.
- Meta Login identifiers, profile information received from Meta, and the link between your Meta and ZingRide accounts.
- Stored Meta or WhatsApp access tokens and connected business-asset identifiers.
- WhatsApp integration configuration and eligible message or support records.
- Marketing preferences and other optional information associated with your account.
4. Information We May Retain
We may retain limited records where required by law or reasonably necessary for taxation, accounting, payment reconciliation, insurance, fraud prevention, safety, legal claims, or enforcement of agreements. Retained information is restricted from unrelated use and removed when the applicable obligation ends.
5. Timing and Confirmation
We will acknowledge your request and normally complete eligible deletion within 30 days after verification. Complex requests or legal obligations may require additional time. We will tell you if an extension or retention exception applies and will confirm when the request is complete.
6. Disconnect Meta or WhatsApp Access
You may also revoke ZingRide's permissions through your Meta account or business settings. Revoking access stops future access through that connection but does not necessarily delete information already stored by ZingRide. Complete the email process above to request deletion of stored information.
